Despite having another season remaining on his current contract with Bath Rugby, there have been rumours connecting former England international centre, Jonathan Joseph, with a potential move to the French ProD2 league.
The 32-year-old player boasts an impressive record of 54 caps for England.
However, he has faced difficulties securing a regular spot in the starting lineup under the leadership of Johann van Graan since the South African coach joined Bath Rugby from Munster last summer.
According to the report, former Biarritz Olympique president Jean-Baptiste Aldigé is reportedly planning to take control of Agen and has big ambitions for the club.
As part of his vision, Aldigé aims to build his own formidable team of star players, often referred to as 'Galacticos'.
If Aldigé assumes the presidency of Agen, the report suggests that he will pursue the signings of two notable rugby players.
One of them is former Bath and Wales international scrum-half, Rhys Webb. The other target is former Wales international centre, Tyler Morgan. It is speculated that negotiations for the trio's potential transfer to Agen could be concluded as early as this week.
According to The Rugby Paper, Agen is also reportedly keeping a close eye on Welsh fly-half Rhys Patchell.
The player recently became a free agent following his departure from Scarlets. It is worth noting that Patchell had previously declined an offer from Bath Rugby to remain with Scarlets, as he aimed to pursue his international aspirations.
