his 22-year-old girlfriend Teagan Voykovich in 2016. This led to him being suspended by the All Blacks.
Former England rugby star Danny Cipriani has opted out of participating in the I'm A Celebrity 2023 lineup, citing the conclusion of his two-year marriage.
The 36-year-old athlete had tied the knot with 42-year-old Victoria Rose in an intimate ceremony in 2021, but the couple recently revealed their decision to part ways.
He shared on Instagram: "Victoria and I sat together this weekend and agreed to separate after 4 years of marriage. Whilst we've had some wonderful times together, we've also recognised we're on different journeys and whilst this is sad news, it's also a new chapter for us both to pursue our own happiness. I only wish the best for Victoria and her children."
Anticipated to secure a substantial fee for his stint on I'm A Celebrity, Cipriani may instead feature on the upcoming edition of Celebrity Big Brother.
The rugby star's intentions to enter the jungle appear to have been thwarted by his relationship woes, despite being touted by ITV insiders as 'one of the most exciting signings for this series.'
A source revealed about their relationship two weeks ago: "Victoria had been increasingly unhappy over the last few months.
"Things got tense and then she saw some text messages on his phone and it led to some difficult rows between them and they have now split up.
"They are both devastated at the breakdown of their marriage."
“Dirty dogs” – Cheating rugby players and the women they did it with

If you find yourself trending on Twitter with your own hashtag it usually means you’ve messed up.
1.Mike Tindall

Tindall assured England team managers and his public relations representatives that the claims were false, but the image, which is pretty damning, was published across the world .
2. Ben Foden
The rugby player’s marriage to Una, who was a member of The Saturday's, came to a dramatic end in 2018, when he admitted to sleeping with another woman behind her back. What made it even worse was the singer was pregnant with their son Tadgh at the time. He's now got a new wife.
3.Jonathan Joseph
Back in 2015, the England centre was dumped by his long term girlfriend after it was revealed he slept with busty Casey Batchelor .
A source told the Sun: “It has not been a good week for him, dumped out of the World Cup and now dumped by his girlfriend."
4. Aaron Smith
According to The Sun, Smith—who is a member of New Zealand's All Blacks rugby team—was spotted having sex inside of an airport bathroom with a woman who was not
5. Brett Ferres
Rugby league ace Ferres was filmed bedding the wife of his club team-mate and best man by his own missus. Devastated Amanda Ferres is said to have walked in on him and Victoria Huby who was married to his Super League pal Craig Huby. Awkward.
