England player ratings vs Ireland
15 Elliot Daly: After all the talk, he was competent under the high ball but it was his kicking game that particularly impressed, setting up his own try. World-class player. 8.5/10
14 Jonny May: England's most potent attacker. Took the opening try superbly and continued to threat throughout with his electric pace. His perfect kick then set up Slade for the game-winning try. 8.5
13 Henry Slade: Impressive on his first Six Nations start, scoring the crucial winning try for England in the second half before adding another to secure the bonus-point. 9

12 Manu Tuilagi: Started off superbly but faded as the game went on. 7
11 Jack Nowell: Exceptional. He was everywhere and did, as promised, act as England's ninth forward. 7.5

10 Owen Farrell (c): A wonderful performance. Should be full-time captain moving forward. 8

9 Ben Youngs: His ditrubution was quick and effective and his box-kicking was pin point. His best England performance for a while! 8
8 Billy Vunipola: Was never afraid to take the ball into contact and get England over the gain line. It was great to see him back! 7.5
7 Tom Curry: A stupid yellow card early on didn't prove too costly. He then focussed and put in an excellent performance, making 11 tackles. 7
6 Mark Wilson: Heroic. Amazing linespeed, lots of tackles (20), and inttelegient rugby. Didn't look out of place up against Ireland's 'world-class' back-row. 8

5 George Kruis: Ran the lineout well enough before being replaced by Courtney Lawes after 52 minutes. 7
4 Maro Itoje: Disappointingly departed short of the hour mark with an ankle injury. 7
3 Kyle Sinckler: Never fails to wind up the opposition, but also got through a lot of good work for Eddie Jones men. 7
2 Jamie George: Did the job at the lineout and was dynamic with the ball in hand. Also chipped in with 14 tackles. Simply must be England's starting hooker full time moving forward. 7
1 Mako Vunipola: Went up against the form tighthead in the world and stood up relatively well in the scrum, and got through plenty of work as England’s main tackler, making 25 tackles. 8.5
