The fly-half topped the poll of his fellow professionals after guiding Gloucester into the play-offs.

And fans have taken to Twitter to send a clear message to the England head coach to pick him for the Rugby World Cup.

Mate, I’ve seen him first hand all season from The Shed. He’s absolutely majestic. Even if Farrell is the solid go to starter, imagine if you’re behind in a World Cup semi final, and you can have Cipriani coming off the bench to unlock a defence. Such a shame Jones can see that.
