Steve Borthwick will likely move on some of England's underperforming veterans when he is confirmed as Eddie Jones replacement later today.
It was wifely reported last night that Eddie Jones will be sacked today after the Aussie was summoned to showdown meeting with RFU chiefs today following dismal run.
Despite a plucky series victory in Australia, 2022 has been an underwhelming year for the Aussie and his team, with just five wins in 13 matches.
It will take until tomorrow for the RFU board to formally ratify rthe eview panel verdict that 'his position has become untenable.'
According to the Mail Online, a statement will be made tomorrow morning with Leicester Tigers head coach Steve Borthwick set to take over with immediate effect.
They’ve also suggested that Tigers Defence coach Kevin Sinfield and head of physical performance Aled Walters are set to join the national set-up.
Sources suggest the Aussie will receive between £700,000 and £800,000 pay-out. To land Borthwick would require a payout in the region of £200,000 to get Tigers to release him from his current contract.
Below, using how he has set up at Leicester, we take a look at how England's XV might look under Borthwick.
Fans have widely speculated that Ellis Genge, who was his captain during their Premiership triumph, could be given the armband.
