"Easy decision" - Worcester confirm the signing of fullback Brown

Brown, who is equally comfortable on the wing, joined the Falcons from Coventry on a two-year deal ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. The 24-year-old went on to make 20 appearances in black and white, crossing for five tries.

Nine of those outings came in the Premiership this season, with Brown part of a Newcastle side that finished bottom of the table—16 points adrift of Exeter Chiefs.

"I'm looking forward to being part of a team that gets Worcester back where they belong," said Brown.

He cited the vision of head coach Matt Everard and the club’s "incredible" fanbase as key factors in making the move to Sixways "an easy decision."

Brown becomes the second player to sign for Worcester this week following the return of ex-England international Billy Twelvetrees, who comes out of retirement to take up a player-coach role.

Worcester’s rebuild continues to gather pace with Leicester Tigers prop Tim Hoyt, Exeter Chiefs loosehead Billy Keast, and Uruguay international Juan Gonzalez also joining the ranks.

They’ll be joined by Cornish Pirates flyer Will Trewin, Warriors stalwart Matt Kvesic, ex-Wales No.9 Lloyd Williams, Saracens front-rower Fraser Balmain, and Dragons fly-half Will Reed.
