Duhan van der Merwe departs Scotland squad with immediate effect

Ferrie, Hepburn and Reed return to the national team environment after featuring in Scotland’s A fixture against Italy earlier in the campaign, while Samuel – who made his senior debut against Portugal in November 2024 – adds to his growing international experience with three caps to his name.

Several players have left camp to undergo further assessment on injuries. Gregor Brown (calf), Scott Cummings (hamstring), Adam Hastings (shoulder), Nathan McBeth (ankle), Elliot Millar Mills (groin) and Duhan van der Merwe (ankle) have all returned to their clubs.

Seb Stephen has also rejoined Glasgow Warriors.
