A prominent rugby scribe has slammed Martin Bayfield's line of questioning for Owen Farrell following England's defeat against Scotland.
The England skipper was speaking after Duhan van der Merwe's late try gave Scotland back-to-back wins at Twickenham for the first time.
Sports writer with the Scottish Daily Mail wrote on Twitter: "TV after match interview with Owen Farrell by Martin Bayfield was dreadful.
"Best in the business in asking the hard questions remains @Sonjamclaughlan,"
One user responded saying: "Martin Bayfield was better in Celebrity MasterChef"
Another said: "Just a post-match puff piece - no insight or analysis"
A third wrote: "I always love Owen Farrell interviews when England lose. Comedy gold."
Another fan commented: "This interview with Farrell is embarrassing too. Does ITV ruin every sport and commentator?"
As of right now, the interview with Bayfield hasn't been published by ITV on their social channels.
However, you can watch his full post-match press conference below.

Following a 29-23 defeat to Scotland in their Six Nations Test at Twickenham on Saturday, Steve Borthwick will be considering some major changes.
Here are the five alterations we'd make based on players performances.

#1. Owen Farrell

RUCK 4/10: Aside from being poor from the tee, his defensive positioning at centre cost his side more than once.
Planet Rugby 6/10: "Kicked poorly off the tee."
Telegraph 5/10: "Not his finest performance in an England shirt. Clattered into Russell slightly late in the first half which was met with approval from the Twickenham crowd - tackle school has been treating him well. Patchy from the tee."
Replacement: Manu Tuilagi

Telegraph 5/10: "Looked hungry and bright on debut and helped put pressure on Scotland in the opening exchanges"
Rugby Pass 5.5/10: "The debut maker had a start to forget."
RUCK 5/10:" Forgot he was playing."
Mail Online 5/10: "First touch was poor and second one was a boot, went looking for work."
Replacement :Cadan Murley

#3. Alex Dombrandt

RUCK 5/10: Looks out of his depth at time. Made a number of handling errors. Blew his chance."
Rugby Pass 6.5/10: "Endured a horrible period, missing the last-man tackle on the scoring van der Merwe and then fumbling the ball twice."
Replacement: Sam Simmonds

#4. Maro Itoje

Planet Rugby 5/10: "Once again not his usual presence on the field. Scotland marshalled him pretty comfortably. Under threat of getting dropped? 5
Telegraph 5/10: "Had a quiet first half by his standards. Produced a number of crunching carries and was a key player in helping patiently build the phases that led to England’s opener. Showed flashes of the disruptive force he is capable of being at the lineout."
Mail Online 6/10: " Better than the autumn but still not back to the old Maro"
Replacement: Courtney Lawes

#5. Ben Curry

RUCK 5/10: Not the dream Six Nations debut he would have hoped for. Costly error in the second half.

Telegraph 4/10: "On his first Test cap since November 2021, he looked abrasive in the tackle but was chopped down on a number of occasions just as he started to get going.Showed only fleeting glimpses of why he’s been one of the Premiership’s most consistent performers this season."
Evening Standard 6/10: "Missed tackle for Ben White try proved costly in an otherwise very solid effort."
Replacement: Ben Earl
