However, three players have been released by Steve Borthwick.

Pearson was left without a club side when London Irish were placed into administration and suspended from the Gallagher Premiership in June 2023, but now joined Northampton Saints ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Pearson initially joined London Irish’s Academy set-up following a stint at Cardiff Metropolitan University – where he made 28 BUCS Super Rugby appearances, 14 Welsh Championship appearances, and was named in the BUCS Super Rugby Team of the Year.

The 6’3”, 114kg back row arrived at the Exiles ahead of the 2021/22 season, and went on to make 39 appearances in his first two years of professional rugby, scoring ten tries.

He scooped London Irish’s Young Player of the Year award after his debut campaign, but began to really capture the headlines in 2022/23, with a season’s worth of standout performances seeing him named as the Premiership’s Breakthrough Player of the Season and the RPA’s Young Player of the Season, as well as being named in the senior England squad ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. 

Beard joined Harlequins’ Academy on a full-time basis in June 2020.

Oscar began his rugby journey at Alton Rugby Club, the same club as World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson, also playing at Farnham RUFC.

Beard studied at Cranleigh School and played at Farnham Rugby Club. He was a member of the school’s Daily Mail Cup-winning side and played for England at School Boys and U18s level.

In June 2021, the England U20 man made his Club and Gallagher Premiership debut on the wing against Sale Sharks.

Blamire has been part of the England set-up at both Under 18 and Under 20 level before his progress to the senior squad.

The Newcastle Falcons front row helped the U20 side to a Grand Slam in 2017 and reached the final of the of the World Rugby U20 Championship later that year. Hailing from Cumbria, he played for Tynedale before he joined the Falcons’ academy and made his debut for the club in 2017.

He was named Newcastle’s academy player of the year in the 2018. Blamire received his first call-up to England’s senior squad in the summer of 2021. Recently, Blamire earned a call-up to Steve Borthwick's squad ahead of the Guinness Men's Six Nations 2024.
