Hollywood actress AnnaLynne McCord has hinted that she may have secretly tied the knot with ex-rugby star Danny Cipriani — just months after the pair rekindled their romance.
The , also admitted Cipriani can get a little protective when she’s filming romantic scenes.
90210 star, 38, had previously split from Cipriani back in January, ending their relationship less than a year after they first went public. But after being spotted together at a star-studded Emmy Awards nominations party in July, it became clear the couple were back on — and now, McCord has dropped a major hint that things have moved to the next level.
Attending the 33rd annual Broadcasting+Cable Hall of Fame in New York City on Tuesday, where her Days of Our Lives co-stars were honoured with the Iconic Show Award, McCord referred to herself as Cipriani’s “wife” while speaking to Daily Mail.
“I am trying desperately to push him into the world of acting,” she said of Cipriani — the former Wasps and England fly-half, who joined her at the event.
“How amazing! I mean, he was one of the best rugby players in the world for almost 20 years. He could do his own stunts.”
McCord went on to add with a laugh:
“I don’t know if he’s going to go for it, but I’m going to continue pushing. We’ll see, you know, happy wife, happy life.”
When asked directly if she and Cipriani had made their relationship official, McCord — notably without a wedding ring — coyly replied, “I decline to comment.”
A spokesperson later told Daily Mail that “things are moving in that direction”, though a representative for Days of Our Lives clarified that “AnnaLynne and Danny are not married.”

“I would say he’s territorial and sexy,” she said. “You know, as women, we love that.”
