BREAKING: Steve Diamond makes coaching return with immediate effect

With immediate effect, Steve Diamond has been appointed as the head coach of Edinburgh Rugby, and it appears that he will retain Mike Blair as his attack coach.
The appointment is expected to be officially confirmed on Friday and will last until the end of the season.
Diamond is likely to take charge for the first time in the game against Connacht on March 25th. Recently, Edinburgh has experienced a string of losses in the United Rugby Championship, having lost seven out of their last eight matches.
Consequently, they have acted quickly to appoint Diamond, who is a former coach of the Sale Sharks and Worcester Warriors.
Two weeks ago, Blair had announced his intention to step down as head coach at the end of the season, as he wanted to concentrate on becoming a "world-class attack coach," citing the job's "all-consuming" nature.
