BREAKING: Henry Arundell will be able to play for England beyond World Cup after RFU relax rules

The rugby world is abuzz with anticipation as it seems that the lightning-fast winger, Henry Arundell, is poised to don the England jersey during the upcoming Six Nations tournament, despite his recent signing with French powerhouse Racing 92.

However, there's a glimmer of hope for Arundell, as he falls into the intriguing category of "exceptional circumstances," a designation that also benefitted Jack Willis when he made his move to Toulouse last season after Wasps found themselves in a similar financial quagmire.
Willis was granted a 12-month exemption starting from Wasps' insolvency date, which paved the way for him to grace the Six Nations stage this year and set his sights on the World Cup. However, he will be unable to play for England beyond the tournament after signing a contract extension with the Top 15 club.
According to insider reports from Telegraph Sport, once the dust settles after the World Cup, the Professional Game Board, comprising representatives from Premiership Rugby, the Rugby Football Union, and the Rugby Players' Association, will convene to deliberate on whether Arundell should receive a similar dispensation
. If the stars align and the exemption is granted, Arundell would be eligible to dazzle in the upcoming Six Nations spectacle.
However, it's important to note that he might have to bid adieu to the prospect of a summer tour to Japan and New Zealand if he extends his Racing contract beyond the 2023/24 season.
