BREAKING | England are flying in a replacement after injury setback

England have confirmed that Ben Spencer will join Eddie Jones' squad tomorrow (Monday) as an injury replacement for Willi Heinz.
The injury to the Gloucester captain, who battled on manfully after pulling his hamstring during the 19-7 semi-final victory over New Zealand, would be a cruel blow.
It now appears that Spencer will find himself parachuted in to play in a World Cup final.
Third choice scrum-half is George Ford, but it appears that Jones isn't keen on that becoming a possibility and has moved quickly to get the Saracens star to Tokyo.
The Aussie had only picked two scrum-halves for the tournament with Heinz being preferred to the likes of Spencer, Dan Robson and Danny Care to provide back-up to first-choice Ben Youngs.

The Saracens starz maiden international call-up came on England’s tour of South Africa in June 2018 and he took part in England's pre Rugby World Cup training camps during the summer.
Spencer last appeared for England against Scotland in the 2019 Guinness Six Nations.
