"Bok MVP" - Pieter-Steph du Toit voted Springboks' Player of the Rugby Championship

Pieter-Steph du Toit has been voted as 'Bok MVP' for the 2025 Rugby Championship, following a stand out campaign against the Southern Hemisphere's top Test nations. The back row was instrumental in South Africa's successful title retention, as he played the full 80 minutes in all matches except for the second round clash against Australia.

The two-time World Rugby Player of the Year received 57% of the votes, carried out in a poll over the last week. Du Toit scored two tries against Argentina in Durban and was superb again a week later at Twickenham, making eight carries and 11 tackles as the Boks secured back-to-back Rugby Championship titles for the first time in their history.

The Toyota Verblitz man was followed in second-place by the record-setting fly half Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu (17%) who broke new ground withhis 37-point personal tally against Argentina in Round 5, to smash the Springboks record previously held by Percy Montgomery (35 points vs Nambia, 2007 Rugby World Cup) .

Hooker Malcolm Marx followed suit in third place, to take the bronze medal from the Springboks dedicated fans (12%). The front-running six Springboks stars can be found in the list below.
