A heart-pounding video of a Duhan van der Merwe escaping a minefield of England defenders is going viral

Possibly the most stirring moment in the episode involved a lone lizard and a minefield of snakes.

It's shot (and edited) cleverly to resemble a heart-pounding action thriller. But the moments of tension, bursts of speed, death-defying leaps, and near-captures are all real.

However, quite brilliantly someone has edited it to resemble Duhan van der Merwe's try for Scotland against England at Twickenham yesterday.

There's dramatic tension.

Ireland got off to an impressive start in their Six Nations campaign thrashing Wales 34-10 on Saturday for their first win in Cardiff in the tournament since 2013.

Meanwhile, Duhan van der Merwe's late try saw Scotland to a thrilling 29-23 Six Nations win at Twickenham on Saturday as England were denied a win in their first match under new coach Steve Borthwick.

BALLS 9/10: "A superb exhibition of No.8 play. Got the team off to a great start with a try inside 2mins. Was involved in all the key moments of the game – came up with a big turnover to stop Welsh momentum in the early stages of the 2nd half.  Top ball carrier with 15 carries. An epic 19 tackles (mostly in the 2nd half)"

Rugby Pass 8.5/10: "Crashing over with just two minutes was the perfect start for the Mayo man.  A huge defensive play early in the second half could have proved crucial in stemming the Welsh fightback."

Planet Rugby 6/10: "Superb in the lineout and handled the ball well. He carried well in traffic and was a pest at the breakdown. Solid shift."

Rugby Pass 6.5/10: "The typically dogged performance from the 33-year-old. None of your fancy stuff but helped grease the wheels of an Ireland pack that rode roughshod over the Gatland’s forwards."

Pundit Arena 6/10: "Didn’t get through as much work as his fellow starting forwards although when he did get involved he did well. O’Mahony will be aware that a number of players are breathing down his neck for a starting spot."

Malins expert grounding showcased his try scoring abilities. Malins waited well and didn't overcommitt for his second try. Malins ran a great line into the right corner to execute the two-on-one with Lewis Ludlam. Scoring an important try to keep England within 2 points heading into the half time break.."

An explosive first step brushed off the tackle attempt of Marcus Smith, and the bruising winger forced his way over the line despite the tackle attempts of Max Malins and Mako Vunipola. Planet Rugby 9/10: "His try from inside his own half will be discussed in pubs for years to come and will feature in every promotional video for the next 50 years at least. Beat the first defender with almost every touch and scored the crucial score to win the match. A demolition job. "

RugbyPass 8.5/10: "Hasn’t played this year due to an ankle injury but you wouldn’t have known as he ripped England apart twice. The first was a solo try for the ages and his second was a terrific show of power."

OffsideLine 9/10: "He showed breath-taking power and pace and a bit of footwork too to take advantage of some flaky English defence to score two very special tries –  one from 55 yards out brushing aside five English defenders in the process. Strong under the high ball, but was pulled narrow for both of Max Malins’ tries."
