The England head coach has named an entirely unchanged starting XV, from the team that ran out victorious against Italy last Saturday. The one alteration comes on the bench, with Ellis Genge confirmed fit after a problematic foot injury saw him withdraw in Rome during England's warm-up preparations. Genge replaces Bath prop Beno Obano on the bench, with Joe Marler once again picked to start at loose-head prop.

1. ENGLAND INJURY UPDATES

STEVE BORTHWICK: "George Martin looks very good and is making really excellent progress. Manu (Tuilagi) progresses well. Ollie Lawrence is doing a session tomorrow with our medical team but has been with the squad this week. He is making progress. With both those guys it's about monitoring them on a weekly basis. As we start to get closer to their return we'll get a bit more work into them.

"Marcus (Smith) will come back in to continue his recovery with us in the latter parts of next week. Hopefully he will be available in the latter part of the tournament."

2. UNCHANGED STARTING XV - FIRST TIME IN 5 YEARS

STEVE BORTHWICK: "A number of reasons (why). Most importantly is that in many ways while last weekend's performance was far from perfect, it was a promising start. It was a really promising start from the less experienced guys and the younger guys.

"There's a blend of leadership and experience led by this man next to me. It's important to keep that blend and build cohesion and continuity. The players will get better and better the more they are playing together."

3. JAMIE GEORGE'S FIRST EXPERIENCE AS ENGLAND CAPTAIN (AGAINST ITALY)

JAMIE GEORGE: "I learned a lot. The thing I need to make sure I keep doing is keep, using the guys around me. I've been so lucky and blessed to have the likes of Ellis Genge, Maro Itoje and George Ford running the team.

"Been impressed as well with guys who haven't been as vocal previously, Sam Underhill and Henry Slade have really stepped up into leadership roles and I'd be stupid not to keep picking their brains and using them, especially on the field."

STEVE BORTHWICK: (Any thoughts to stand Feyi-Waboso down?) "Not from my point of view. He came on and did really well (against Italy). He has been an incredibly calm, composed and mature character. He's trained very well and in the little time I've known him he doesn't seem to get fazed. I only have good things to say about him."

JAMIE GEORGE: "First and foremost through his performances, I've been so impressed with everyone who has come into the squad. Manny is a very confident guy. He understands our defensive system because it's pretty similar to the one at Exeter, which is beneficial. He isn't fazed by anything."

STEVE BORTHWICK: "We expect the team and performance by Wales in the second half (against Scotland), we expect that standard. At the start of a tournament things like that can happen. Through the game the game they looked better and better and more cohesive. We're expecting the very best version of a very good Welsh team."

JAMIE GEORGE: "You just know when it's England v Wales. As soon as the game finished on Saturday there's a very different feel. There's a huge amount of excitement. I don't need to talk about the history of the game, it means a lot to people I this squad and to people in England. It's very exciting to be back at Twickenham playing Wales."

"It's a big week, it's a big week. There's a huge excitement around the squad as a whole in terns of building on the performances. We've said it a million times since (last) Saturday, it's not exactly where we wanted it to be. But the courage and endeavour to do try to do things a little bit differently, to play at a higher intensity, was there.

"Naturally as a player, you just want to go into the next thing. Steve has been trying to pull us back all week because it's England-Wales and we are back at Twickenham...Everyone wants to put their hand up. We really want to try to build on the foundation we laid in Rome."
