Ireland are bidding for their first Grand Slam triumph since 2018 after victory over Italy in Rome, while Scotland, England and France are waiting in the wings with two wins from three after Les Bleus edged past Scotland and England left Cardiff with a win.

And there were signs of heading in the right direction for Wales and Italy despite a third consecutive defeat.

Below, we look at five players who've struggled to hit their usually high standards.

vs Scotland - 6/10: "Couple of big hits on Finn Russell and involved in England’s best attacking moments."

vs Italy - 6/10: "Looked comfortable at No 10 but kicking stunted attacks in the second half. Goal kicking must improve."

vs Wales - 6/10: "Not best day with the kicking tee but ran England’s improved attack with aplomb."

vs Ireland 5/10: "Pushed the pass that was picked off by James Lowe for Ireland’s third try, then nailed deep in Ireland’s 22. Some good work with kicks over the top, but hit into next week by Ringrose."

vs Scotland - 6/10: "Lit the fuse with his controversial pre-match comments, but Scotland made him eat his words. Welsh attack was one-dimensional."

vs Ireland - 5.10: "One lovely offload, many decent tackles, was in double figures for carries. But Ireland were dynamic when the game was won and lost in the opening half.”

vs Italy - 6/10: "Looked powerful on the ball and happily obliged when asked to truck the ball up repeatedly in a congested Roman midfield. Solid operator."
