As a rugby supporter, it may be hard to stomach that some players hate each other, but that has been the case at even the highest level...

1. Amanaki Mafi & Lopeti Timani

Mafi, the Australian Super Rugby Player of the Year last year, was charged with assaulting fellow Rebels player Timani. Timani claims he endured four hours of terror in South Dunedin after Mafi set upon the towering former Wallaby over a swear word Timani used in front of Mafi's sister, who was present at the time.

2. Danny Cipriani & Mike Catt

Teammates for England's 2007 Rugby World Cup training squad, eight years later the two clashed ahead of the 2015 showpiece when Catt had joined Stuart Lancaster's backroom staff. Catt over-reacted to a perceived lack of effort in a training drill and allegedly told the 27-year-old twice: ‘I will end your England career’. The two haven't been on speaking terms since.

3. Andy Goode & Dave Ward

Andy Goode has gone on record about how much he doesn’t like Dave Ward. It all kicked off when Goode called Ward out on Twitter for allegedly spitting on Wasps hooker Thomas Young and stamping on his leg. Goode called him ‘an absolute coward’ and Tweeted photos of the incident.

4. James Haskell & Neil Back

Haskell was caught in an online row with World Cup-winner, Neil Back. The spat began when Haskretweeted an official post from the England Rugby account, in which Haskell calls upon Saturday's Manchester crowd to get behind the team.

5. Brett Ferres & Craig Huby

Rugby league ace Brett Ferres was filmed bedding the wife of his club team-mate and best man by his own missus. Devastated Amanda Ferres, 29, is said to have walked in on him and Victoria Huby, 30, who is married to his Super League pal Craig Huby. A source said Amanda caught them on camcorder last week and sent the footage to Craig, 29. I doubt they'll be out having a pint anytime soon.
