4 English Lions contenders who flopped in round 3 of the Six Nations

As captain has to bear responsibility for failing to get a handle on England’s terrible discipline. A lot better playing performance by attacking the gainline.

Clumsy clear out in ruck led to penalty that opened the door for Wales' third score. Replaced in the 58th minute. 

Some of the decisions were debatable but no player can afford to cough up five penalties. Discipline was already a concern. This was close to unforgivable.

 One pass to Slade was trademark Ford and he was part of backline that showed enterprise but kicked poorly.  He's not a better player than Marcus Smith or Joe Simmonds in any way.
