The countdown is on. The 2027 Guinness Six Nations fixtures have been confirmed – and Steve Borthwick's England have been handed arguably the toughest possible start in a Rugby World Cup year.

England open their campaign with a daunting Friday night trip to Dublin to face Ireland before welcoming France to Allianz Stadium just nine days later. Two of the tournament favourites in the opening fortnight is about as brutal as it gets.

With the Rugby World Cup in Australia looming later in the year, every match will carry extra significance as Europe's biggest sides fine-tune their squads.
