Rugby is without a doubt the greatest invention of all time but some aspects of it regularly make us want to tear what's left of our hair out.
1. Booing
Especially when someone is kicking.
Whilst the majority of fans seem capable of keeping their mouths shut, you get the odd idiot who ruins it.
THIS IS NOT FOOTBALL! – kick it out or we’ll kick you out!
2. Ugly sponsors
DHL should never have been allowed to sponsor Harlequins. Their logo was an eyesore on their stunning kit last season.
And don’t get us started on sleeve sponsors, shorts sponsors and all that.
People are much less likely to buy whatever it is you’re selling if your logo stains their beloved club’s kit.
3. Referee inconsistencies
We're looking at you referees, as much as we understand how tough your job is.
There should be a standard rule for;
  • How long an advantage should run for
  • What constitutes a scrum infringement
  • At what angle does a player have to enter a ruck to be considered offside
  • What is worthy of a yellow/red card

It’s not just that though, it’s the 30 seconds between each reset cleaning boots and complaining that means we lose vast quantities of game time watching this farce.
5. Football-esque Behaviour
Whether it be idiotic coaches moaning or even dumber players diving, there is no place in rugby for this kind of behaviour in rugby.
6. Swan dives
They're just completely unnecessary.
7. The crooked feeds
No words. This just makes us sad.
These days TV commentators are clearly under orders from broadcasters not to mention them, but our readers say that crooked scrum feeds remain one of the biggest bugbears in our sport.

8. Stuart Barnes
Why must Sky continue to persist with this bumbling idiot? Our poor ears.

9. Queueing

Can somebody get me a beer in under 15 minutes? Here's our solution...
mat beers

10. Anthem singers

They’re good, fantastic in fact. However, whenever just fans and players sing an anthem on their own it feels a lot more epic. Listen to this example of Wales singing their anthem as evidence enough…
