Premiership Player of the Month Shortlist revealed for April

As the Gallagher Premiership season approaches its climax, four players have been shortlisted for April's Player of the Month award. Each member of this quartet has delivered standout performances, that have propelled their teams forward towards the business end of the campaign.

George Ford (Sale Sharks): Ford's tactical acumen was on full display during Sale's 22-7 victory over Saracens, where he scored his first try in nearly three years and executed a brilliant 50:22 kick, guiding the Sharks to second place in the league.

Alex Mitchell (Northampton Saints): Mitchell orchestrated a dominant performance against Bristol Bears, scoring the opening try and delivering a remarkable 70-metre 50:22 kick, contributing to a seven-try rout that bolstered Saints' momentum ahead of their Champions Cup semi-final. ​

Adam Radwan (Leicester Tigers): Radwan's electrifying pace led to a hat-trick in Leicester's emphatic 47-7 win over Harlequins, a victory that propelled the Tigers back into playoff contention.

Jack van Poortvliet (Leicester Tigers): Returning from an eight-month injury layoff, van Poortvliet made a significant impact off the bench in Leicester's 36-19 triumph over Bristol Bears, adding sharpness to the Tigers' backline during a crucial phase of the season. ​
