'Blue, black and white in the veins' - Bath confirm new contract for home-grown star

The full back has committed his long-term future to The Rec faithful, seeing him remain in Blue, Black and White for a further two seasons. Of his time so far in Bath colours, de Glanville said: “This club and the special people within it have become family to me. It’s a privilege to be able to represent the Blue, Black and White at The Rec and I’ll never take it for granted.

“I’m so grateful to all the fans for the support through the tough times and the good, and that’s what makes this club so special. I can’t wait for what is to come on this journey.’

De Glanville’s time at Bath has seen some special moments, including 2025’s treble-winning season, earning his professional rugby debut, and playing on the same turf he’d watch Bath play on throughout his childhood.

Head of Rugby, Johann van Graan, commented on de Glanville’s renewal, saying: “Tom is an incredible team man and a very important player in our group. Tom is certainly one of the unsung heroes of our team and the DNA of our squad.

“Tom and his family have a history with the club and we are very grateful that the Blue, Black and White will continue to flow through his veins.”
