Head coach Laurie Fisher could be set to leave Gloucester
Former Brumbies coach Fisher joined the Cherry and Whites in 2014
Laurie Fisher's future as head coach at Gloucester is in doubt, after he referred to making "room for someone else" in the role on social media.
The Australian cast doubt on his future when he said it is "time to make room for someone else" on Twitter following the defeat to Harlequins yesterday and it is understood that the club were planning to hold talks with Fisher today to clarify his comments.
Gloucester's stance has not changed since last night, when a spokesperson said: "We are aware of the tweet but we are not in a position to comment any further at the moment."
Fisher joined Gloucester from Super Rugby side the Brumbies ahead of the 2014-15 season.
BBC Radio Gloucestershire's Paul Furley said: "Gloucester's lack of progress up the Premiership table has been a source of frustration for fans for nearly three years since Nigel Davies left in 2014.
